The purpose of the grant is to raise students' awareness of
vocational education and its opportunities, as well as to increase female
students' participation in male-dominated programs.
“Our goal is to provide information to the youth of Imereti
region on how to choose a profession, how to plan their career correctly, so
that they can get rid of stereotypical attitudes and realize that there are no
male and female professions, the most important thing is to know what we want
do," said Tamar Zakarashvili, director of Construct2.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the US
Embassy, the head of the department for the development of vocational
education, representatives of the construction company BK Construction and the
State Trustee in Imereti.
Construct2 is a construction college that was established in
2017 as a result of a partnership between the construction company BK
Construction and the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
